Market Microstructure Field

Compress price-volume conflict into a replayable pressure map: drive, absorption, and vacuum acceleration at a glance.

Indicator overview

Market Microstructure Field rebuilds the price-volume conflict behind ordinary candles as an evolving pressure map. Its violet developing control line tracks the price center where activity concentrates. The cyan and magenta side profiles spread upward and downward pressure across price, while the violet spine exposes absorption zones where activity surges but price struggles to travel. Five Action Zones automatically rank the levels that deserve attention now, making support, resistance, and likely breakout paths far easier to read.

Its edge is fast scenario recognition. A rising control line with an expanding cyan profile shows that an advance is gaining structural support. A sudden rise in violet absorption as price hits a pressure wall points to rotation, rejection, or compression before a break. A fast move through a vacuum suggests thin opposition and the potential for acceleration. Move the chart and the entire field recalculates from the rightmost candle, so the same map works for the live market and for replaying who controlled any earlier phase.

How to read the chart

Developing pressure-control line
The violet line follows the pressure center and joins the strongest right-side control level
Direction-switch diamonds
Only stronger switches remain: cyan for upward drive and magenta for downward drive
Cyan right profile
Longer and brighter rows show stronger upward-drive concentration at that price
Magenta left profile
Longer and brighter rows show stronger downward-drive concentration at that price
Violet absorption spine
The spine intensifies where activity expanded without proportional displacement
Dense data rail
Each active price row shows directional delta and relative strength for vertical comparison
Five Action Zones
Five separated high-pressure levels are ranked T1, T2, and Z3 through Z5
Directional and price rails
Cyan and magenta rails mark directional peaks; the solid and dashed lines track total concentration and price
Event pins
The strongest absorption, exhaustion, or vacuum events are spread through a dedicated lane

Signal confirmation

Drive dominance

One side of a price row extends materially farther than the other

Absorption concentration

The violet spine strengthens while price remains inside a control zone

Control retest

Wait for a close through or away from the solid control line instead of treating it as certainty

Vacuum traversal

A coral pin accompanies displacement; watch for either rapid fill or acceleration

How to use it

  1. 01

Read price position and slope against the developing line before comparing the two profile sides

  2. 02

Wait for the close after price enters a dark control zone instead of reversing on first touch

  3. 03

A stronger violet spine means lower displacement efficiency, not a confirmed reversal

  4. 04

Reduce size around vacuum traversals because price can snap back quickly or keep accelerating

Avoid when:

Extremely sparse volume, adjusted-price discontinuities, or news-driven gaps large enough for a few abnormal candles to dominate the field.

Parameter guide

Response length8

State smoothing; lower values react faster and switch more often

Activity baseline length30

History used to compare current volume or turnover activity

Volatility baseline length14

ATR scale used to compare displacement across symbols and timeframes

State sensitivity1.15

Higher values reveal more colored states, including weaker ones

Profile lookback bars80

Fixed bars counted backward from the rightmost visible candle, matching the VP window model

Profile width / opacity0.88 / 0.95

Changes only the right-side profile footprint and intensity

Developing line / control glow / event pins / profile readoutOn

Each visual layer can be hidden without changing pressure calculations
