Liquidity Heatmap

Use violet, blue, cyan, and amber trails to show where recent trading attention persists, strengthens, or fades.

Indicator overview

Use the heatmap to locate prices that repeatedly attract trading attention. Deep violet marks weak background heat, electric blue and cyan show stronger concentration, and amber is reserved for the strongest current areas. Long glowing walls reveal prices whose heat persists through time, while the right-side profile compares the latest relative intensity at every price layer.

The display is calculated from candle prices, volume, and ATR with forward-only decay. It is not an exchange Level 2 order book and does not state that a known quantity of resting orders exists at a price. Use it to organize possible reaction, support, and resistance areas, then wait for candle behavior and structural confirmation when price returns.

How to read the chart

Deep-violet heat
Lower price-volume attention used as quiet background context
Electric-blue / cyan heat
More concentrated recent trading and price acceptance
Amber core
The few strongest levels in the current sample, not an automatic reversal signal
Horizontal glow wall
Persistent heat at one price forms a continuous reaction band
Right-side intensity profile
Compares current heat by price; the dashed line marks the strongest layer

Signal confirmation

Heat strengthening

Color advances from violet and blue toward cyan or amber while persistence increases

Heat decay

Color fades after price leaves, showing that recent attention is weakening

Revisit reaction

Price returns to a strong wall and prints rejection, volume expansion, or a structure turn

How to use it

    Prioritize long cyan and amber trails instead of finding a reason in every violet cell

    On the first revisit, wait for a close reaction and confirm with BOS, CHoCH, or an Order Block

  3. 03

    After large candles cut through a wall, wait for decay or a newly established heat area

  4. 04

    Do not compare intensity across different timeframes or windows without recalibrating

Avoid when:

Unreliable volume, changing volume definitions, extreme gaps, or tasks requiring actual order-book levels and resting-order quantities.
