Tiered Targets & Kinetic Stop

Let the stop evolve with momentum and volatility while projecting sequential targets from every confirmed trend flip.

Indicator overview

Use this indicator to manage an open trade with a trailing protective area and a ladder of profit targets. A green cloud protects a bullish position, a red cloud protects a bearish position, and a flip diamond marks the close that officially changes direction.

The target lines make it easy to plan partial exits. Reached targets remain on the chart, while the next target shows how far price still has to travel. A direction change is confirmed only by the close crossing the stop; a brief wick touch does not count, which helps reduce reactions to momentary noise.

How to use it

  1. 01

Treat sequential targets as scale-out references, not promises

  2. 02

Direction changes only on a close through the stop; an intrabar wick is not a confirmed flip

  3. 03

A target touched before the flip candle closed is a visual record, not an executable post-confirmation target

  4. 04

As the volatility air gap changes, resize the position instead of increasing total risk

  5. 05

In replay, inspect the order of flips and target hits rather than the final chart alone

Avoid when:

Trendless markets, very wide spreads, and gaps that can jump across several levels at once.
